When should the GLAZ Liquid 2.0 be renewed for my Apple Watch / Apple Watch 2, my iPhone or Samsung Galaxy?

Can I remove GLAZ Liquid 2.0 without residue from my Apple Watch / Apple Watch 2, my iPhone or Samsung Galaxy?
No, GLAZ Liquid 2.0 lies protective on the display like a second skin and can’t be removed.
What happens if GLAZ Liquid 2.0 comes into contact with the metal housing during application?
This won’t damage the metal housing. You can simply wipe it off with the enclosed microfibre cloth.
What happens when GLAZ Liquid 2.0 gets in touch with the bracelet of my Apple Watch/Apple Watch Series 2?
Your bracelet should not get in touch with the Apple Watch Liquid from GLAZ, as this could damage the material.
How strong / stable is the liquid glass screen protector of GLAZ on my Apple Watch / Apple Watch Series 2, my iPhone or my Samsung Galaxy?
As you are accustomed by GLAZ, this protection is harder than a sapphire, and after the drying time of 7-10 days it receives a hardness of 9+H (that means that your device can be used normally during this time, but it should not be subjected to any heavier loads (sand).
Can I use any cleaner before applying GLAZ Liquid 2.0?
Before using GLAZ Liquid 2.0, use the included cleaning cloth with isopropyl alcohol to clean your Apple Watch / Apple Watch 2, your iPhone or your Samsung Galaxy, which has been specially developed for our product.
Do I Have to pay attention after the application of GLAZ Liquid 2.0?
When applying the GLAZ Liquid 2.0 on the pad, make sure that it is only damp and does not float in the liquid. If you have distributed the liquid glass with the pad on your Apple Watch / Apple Watch Series 2, your iPhone or your Samsung Galaxy generously until the drying veil has formed, go with the included cleaning pad over the entire display and remove the drying veil. Please avoid settling too much GLAZ Liquid 2.0 in the earpiece / hearing aid. Polish the surface with the enclosed microfiber cloth until it’s shiny. Check that there are no residues on the display / earpiece / Home Button / Unibody. After 7-10 day drying time the GLAZ Liquid 2.0 has reached its full hardness. You can use your smartphone normally during this time, but should keep the load on your display low.
When is it ensured that GLAZ Liquid 2.0 is hardened?
After 7-10 days, it protects the display of your device in everyday use. (You can use your smartphone normally during this time, but should keep the load on your display low)
What do I have to look out for when applying GLAZ Liquid 2.0?
That the display is completely wetted by circular application with the pad and a drying veil forms. In addition, you should be careful to remove possible residues of the GLAZ Liquid 2.0 with the enclosed cleaning pad and then polish the display until it shines.
Is the Apple Watch Liquid from GLAZ usable for all Apple Watch sizes?
Yes, you can use our product for Apple Watch 38mm or 42mm.
Can I apply GLAZ Liquid 2.0 to the back of my iPhone or Samsung Galaxy to protect my metal case?
Our GLAZ Liquid 2.0 screen protector is currently only suitable for the front of Apple and Samsung products and is also tested on these products, unless the back is also made of real glass. For the back of the iPhone 7 Jet Black / Diamond Black we offer the GLAZ Diamond and for metal backs the GLAZ Titan.
Can I also apply GLAZ Liquid 2.0 on other products (other mobile phone manufacturer, cooking area etc.)?
Our GLAZ Liquid 2.0 is exclusively for the iPhone, the Samsung Galaxy and the Apple Watch / Apple Watch 2 and also tested on these products. How our GLAZ Liquid 2.0 is behaving on other products, unfortunately, we can not say. If you use GLAZ Liquid 2.0 on other products, this is done on your own responsibility.
Does the application of GLAZ Liquid 2.0 make my display unbreakable?
No, the GLAZ Liquid 2.0 does not make your display absolutely unbreakable. When a certain amount of force is applied to your display, the best product can also yield. We will exclude a compensation for any damage caused by a fall from any height.
Why do I have to blow dry the device for 5 minutes and then wait for another 15 minutes?
After applying the GLAZ Liquid 2.0, you should heat your device for 5 minutes with a hair dryer or wait 45 minutes at room temperature to allow the surface of the Liquid 2.0 with drying out. You have to wait 15 minutes after blow drying so the device can cool down to room temperature.

GLAZ Diamond / Titan

Can I use GLAZ Diamond on the back of devices other than the iPhone 7/7 + JetBlack?
No, the GLAZ Diamond has only been developed for the iPhone 7 / 7+ JetBlack. For the following devices  (iPhone 6 / 6s / 6 + / 6s + / 5 / SE) you can use GLAZ-Titan.
When must GLAZ Diamond / Titan be renewed?
After one year, the full protection of GLAZ Diamond / Titanium is no longer guaranteed and must be reapplied. (Hint from the GLAZ team: Make a note in your calendar)
Can I remove GLAZ Diamond / GLAZ Titan without residue from the back of my device?
No, the product wrotects itself as a second skin on the back of your device and can not be removed.
What happens when applying GLAZ Diamond / Titan the Display comes into contact with it?
Nothing happens to your display. You can simply polish it with the enclosed microfiber cloth.
Can I use any cleaner before applying GLAZ Diamond / Titan?
Before applying GLAZ Diamond / Titanium, please use the cleaning cloth with Isopropyl Alcohol, which is specially developed for our product.
Do I have to consider something after applying GLAZ Diamond / Titan?
Watch out !!! Important GLAZ Diamond and GLAZ Titanium are different at the application: GLAZ-Diamond Let the GLAZ Diamond absorb for 5 min. Please do not wait longer than 5 min, otherwise it will be harder to remove the veil. Then go to step 6. GLAZ-Titan When using GLAZ-Titan, treat the back of your device after each application for 5 minutes with a commercially available hair dryer (three times) at a distance of at least 15 cm, so that the GLAZ Titan can enter. Then go to step 6. Check that there are no residues left. After 24-36 hours of rest, you have reached the optimum result, which means that the product should cure in a maximum of 36 hours without use. When is it ensured that GLAZ Diamond / Titan is hardened? After 24-36 hours, that means that the product should cure in a maximum of 36 hours without use.

What should I pay attention to when applying GLAZ-Diamond / Titanium?
That the back of your device is fully used with the pad and any liquid (veil) is evenly distributed.
Does the application with GLAZ-Diamond protects my back from all damage?
No, GLAZ Diamond makes your backside harder, but crashing or damage will result in scratches and damage. GLAZ accepts no liability. We will indemnify you for damages of any kind.
Does the application with GLAZ Titanium protects my back from all damage?
Yes, GLAZ Titan makes the backside as hard as Saphir (9H). However, it does not make your product scratch resistant. In case of fall or a considerable expenditure of force, scratching or breakage can occur in the material. We will indemnify you for damages of any kind.

Application on the glass screen protector 2.0

What makes the new screen protector 2.0 so special?
Our new screen protector 2.0 covers even the edges of the screen of your iPhone. The rim of the screen protector replicates the edges of your screen. It consists of genuine glass and is 0.25mm thick. As with the previous model, the hardness is 9H and consequently as hard as sapphire. Our new screen protector 2.0 is available for all iPhone 6 and 7 models. Our classic screen protector 1.0 is suitable for iPhone 5 and SE. All screen protectors for the above models come with an applicator.
I have a GLAZ screen protector 2.0 with an applicator. How do I use this?
Clean and dry Start by using the alcohol pad to clean your screen, before drying it with a microfibre cloth. Then check your display for traces of dust and remove it with the enclosed sticker. Very important: Even if your iPhone is entirely new, it must be cleaned thoroughly, as the protective film applied ex works could leave chemicals on the screen. Apply the applicator. Remove the film along the markings on the inside of the applicator. Align the applicator with the edges of the touchscreen of your iPhone, holding it parallel to the touchscreen, and lightly press to apply the glass. Move your finger across the arrow. Finishing touches Now, remove the adhesive strip on the front of the applicator. Remove the applicator once the applied glass is sticking fully to the touchscreen. Remove any trapped air with a small, stiff-bladed tool or credit card.
Does the GLAZ screen protector obstruct the 3D touch functions of my iPhone 6s?
No, even with our GLAZ screen protector this function can be used as before.
In which colours are the Touch ID buttons available?
We deliver two Touch ID buttons with the black screen protector 2.0: a black one with a black rim and a black one with a silver rim. With the white screen protector 2.0 we deliver three white Touch ID buttons: one with a gold, one with a rose gold and one with a silver rim. Please note that the colour of the rim may wear off through daily use.
Can I still use of the Touch ID functionality with the supplied Touch ID buttons?
The Touch ID functionality of your mobile phone will work perfectly also when using our Touch ID button.
The ring of the Touch ID button is attached to a carrier film (adhesive film). Do I have to stick on the ring together with the carrier film?
You can attach the Touch ID button with or without the carrier film (adhesive film). The carrier film may also help protect your home button from scratches.
With my screen protector some dust has developed around the edges after a little while. Is this normal and how can I remove this?
It is possible that some dust collects around the edges of your screen protector after some time. You can easily remove the dust with a vacuum cleaner or a fine brush.
How is our new screen protector 2.0 different from its predecessor, the screen protector 1.0?
At 0.25mm thick, the screen protector 2.0 is thinner than our screen protector 1.0. In addition, it has rounded glass edges and is compatible with almost all currently popular protective cases. Screen protector 1.0 has a rubber lip around the rim to protect the rounded edges of the iPhones, and is compatible only with our cases.

Formation of blister

I have applied my screen protector 2.0 and there are some blisters that I have not been able to remove.
It is possible that after application of the screen protector some, also quite large, blisters may form. We recommend you take the time to remove these blisters. It will be easier if you heat up the screen protector sufficiently with a hairdryer. Some blisters can be quite persistent but in most cases they disappear if worked on sufficiently. It is not a case of removing the blisters by shifting trapped air towards the edges, but rather to heat up the acrylic material by rubbing and thus spreading it, so that the screen protector bonds in this area. Extremely persistent blisters generally disappear within 7 days as if by magic. What can I do to remove particularly persistent blisters?
Especially the screens of new mobile phones often carry traces of oil or other chemical residues. This is why we ask you for additional patience if any blisters form. Treat the blisters as recommended in our installation instructions. For the remaining blisters, allow 7 days for them to disappear. In most cases, they disappear by themselves.
I have lifted the screen protector slightly when trying to remove the blisters and dirtied it while doing so. What can I do now?
If the screen protector is dirtied on the inside, you can rinse the screen protector under cold running water. Do not use any detergent or dry the screen protector with a cloth! Simply shake off the water. Additional water drops can be removed just like blisters or rather disappear by themselves. Again, you will have to allow a few days for all the blisters to disappear.

Reuse

I have a new mobile phone of the same model 6/6s. Can I reuse my old screen protector 2.0?
Yes, this is possible. Loosen it a little from the screen with a fingernail. Once removed, we recommend that you rinse it under cold running water. Do not use any detergent or dry the screen protector with a cloth! Simply shake off the water. Additional water drops can be removed just like blisters or rather disappear by themselves. Again, you will have to allow a few days for all the blisters to disappear.

How can I remove the GLAZ screen protector 2.0?
You can remove it by loosening it a little from the screen with the fingernail.

Screen protector for iPhone 6/6+ and iPhone 6s/6s+

Can I use the screen protector 2.0 with a protection case?
You can use screen protector 2.0 with most current protection cases. The original Apple protection cases are definitely compatible.
Can I use my iPhone 6/ 6+ with my GLAZ screen protector 1.0 and a protection case?
The GLAZ screen protector covers the entire screen. Since the protector covers the rounded edges, some protection cases put pressure on the GLAZ screen protector. This can cause the GLAZ screen protector to bulge and ultimately to break. You can use our GLAZ protection case. This is compatible with our screen protector. Please ensure that you do not use the protection case unless the screen protector has already bonded with your iPhone for a minimum of 12 hours.
Is there a protection case which is compatible with the GLAZ screen protector 1.0 for iPhone 6/6+?

Packaging

Why do we have such a big packaging for our products?
We have developed a packaging design that should meet several criteria at the same time. We chose this size of the packaging as there are some customers ordering more than one item. Also, this one packaging is used for all our products, which makes re-packaging unnecessary. In addition, in the past, our screen protectors were often fragmented because of heavier packages on top. By a certain minimum size, we also prevent the delivery into the mailbox and thus the mailbox stealing. DHL also provides a minimum size for insured and trackable packages that we fulfill. All in all, the packaging is made of 100% recycled paper.

How do I care for my GLAZ screen protector?
To properly care for your screen protector all you need is the enclosed microfibre cloth.
Important things GLAZ users should know
Safety Hardened glass is safest of them all. The hardening process produces an evenly distributed inner tension, which means that if the glass breaks it will not shatter into sharp-edged splinters, but will break into small, granular fragments. Nonetheless hardened glass is not 100% safe, as it can still cause cuts and wounds. Therefore, please be aware of the risks of hardened glass and make sure you take suitable safety precautions. If you continue to use damaged hardened glass, this can lead to a further fragmentation which may lead to an injury to the user or a bystander. Care Please keep the protective film away from sand and stones, as these scratch the surface and/or can cause breakage. Also keep the protective film away from extreme sources of heat or cold. Do not dip it into hot or cold water. The thermal shock may cause the hardened glass to break.
Safety instructions for GLAZ Liquid

Disposal

How must I dispose of GLAZ?
Ensure that you dispose of the screen protector film in a safe manner in order to avoid injuries to yourself and others. It is possible to recycle the screen protector film. When handling it, we recommend you wear sturdy safety gloves, especially if you should try to remove pieces of glass. Wrap the fragments up in a few pieces of paper. Do not throw them in the domestic waste, but into the recycling bin. Use a hard broom to sweep the area where the glass broke so that you can be sure that you removed all remaining fragments. Please handle the screen protector film with the same sense of responsibility and care you would apply for any other glass product. Enjoy your state-of-the-art glass screen protector.

Cleaning

Which cleaning agent can be used before placing the film on the device?
The Mounting Kit (alcohol pad, microfibre cloth, dust absorbing sticker) which comes with the product includes everything you need to keep your screen protector perfectly clean. Please <strong>don’t use any other cleaning agents</strong>, as their active ingredients <strong>may harm the screen protector</strong>. Should you choose to use them anyway, this will be your own responsibility and any warranty shall be voided.

What might damage the GLAZ screen protector?
The GLAZ screen protector is very robust. You should, however, under all circumstances avoid any contact with sand. Sand is one of the hardest materials and definitely causes scratches.

The Complaint

How do I claim a product at GLAZ?
You are not satisfied with our product and you have a reason for a complaint? Please follow these steps:

  2.  Please tell us your order number so that we can assign your complaint
  3. Please describe your complaint reason in detail
  4. send us at least 3 overview pictures from different perspective of your complaint in the following formats: (jpeg, png, bmp) The files should not be bigger than 3 MB. You can also send us a video as a link, therefor you can use various free file hosting services (Dropbox, box, File dropper, etc.)
As soon as we have received your e-mail with all required documents, we will process your request as soon as possible and contact you.

Right of revocation

How can I revoke an order?
Of course you can use your right of revocation within 14 days after concluding the contract without giving any reasons. But please note that the goods must be returned in a new, unused condition.
How long are the processing times of my complaints?
