This huge display is a sAMOLED panel with QHD+ resolution and 2960×1440 pixels. Towards the pages it is rounded and is currently considered one of the best displays on the market. The iPhone X advertises with Super-Retina, an OLED panel and 2436×1125 pixels. The characteristic Notch is also sticking out here.

Unlocking: Apple’s minimalism is also evident in security. iPhone can only be secured with a PIN/password or FaceID. Both devices are not bargaining and a purchase should therefore be well thought out. The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 starts with the basic equipment with 128 GB at 999€, for the quadruple memory 1249€ are due. With iPhone X, the 64 GB version already costs 1149€ and ends at 1319€ for 256 GB. On Amazon the iPhone X costs about 980€, which is still a lot of money after almost a year on the market.

Both the new Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and the Apple iPhone X are great devices with some advantages and disadvantages. The note shines particularly with a large and expandable memory, as well as a multitude of unlocking possibilities. It is also the clear winner in terms of productivity thanks to the S Pen. However, the grade 9 hardly offers any new features to the Samsung Galaxy S9+, which is a bit sad. iPhone X features a perfectly customized iOS infrastructure that makes operation intuitive. It is also slightly smaller and lighter, which makes it appear more manageable for the user. However, the iPhone is also a lot more expensive than the Note model, if you take the prices directly from Apple, and more susceptible to damage.
In conclusion, it is not so easy to declare one of the devices better or worse. Depending on the field of application and personal preferences, both Smartphones have strengths and weaknesses and are worth their money in many respects. But if you are only looking for a mobile phone for chatting and making phone calls, you are probably a bit wrong in this price segment.
